Duties of the Officers:
The President shall preside at all meetings of the Club and the Executive Board. She/He shall be ex-officio member of all committees.
The 1st Vice President shall perform all the duties of the President in her/his absence. She/He shall be Chairperson of the Program Committee.
The 2nd Vice President shall perform the duties of the President and 1st Vice President. She/He shall be Chairperson of the Membership Committee.
The Recording Secretary shall keep the minutes of all meetings of the Club. She/He shall keep a list of Club members.
The Corresponding Secretary shall conduct all correspondence of the Club. She/He shall reply to letters of resignations and request resigning members to turn in yearbooks.
The Treasurer shall collect, hold, and pay out all funds as directed by the Club or Executive Board.
The Assistant Treasurer shall perform all the duties of the Treasurer in her/his absence.
The Publicity Officer shall publish notice of the Club meetings and write full reports of all activities for the news papers.
The Historian shall keep the history of the Club and record all activities in the scrapbook.
The Chaplain shall open each regular meeting with prayer.
Section 1: The Club shall have the following standing committees: Civic Improvement, Special projects, Yearbook,
Council Representatives, Awards/Grants, Mini-Garden Center, Remembrance, Anti-Liter/Conservation, Legislation, and Luncheon.
Section 2: The Executive Board shall authorize needed additional committees which shall be appointed by the President.
Section 3: A nominating committee shall be appointed by the President at the February meeting. The Committee shall present
a proposed list of officeers at the April meetingwhen all offices have been filled. and they shall be voted on. New Club
Officers will be installed at the May meeting. The Committee shall be dissolved when all officers have been filled.
Vacancies occuring between elections shall be filled by the Executive Board.
GUESTS: Guests may be invited by Club members to attend any open and/or regular meeting of the Club.
Any member shall duly notify Luncheon Chairperson of her/his intention to invite a guest.
REMOVAL FROM VICINITY: Members moving from the vicinity automatically lose their membership.
